I am considering purchasing either the R8 V10 or V10 Plus, and I want to know what sets them apart from each other. Any technical information or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.
ReplyThe main difference between the R8 V10 and V10 Plus is the engine power. While the V10 has a 5.2L V10 engine with 532 horsepower, the V10 Plus has a 5.2L V10 engine with 602 horsepower. This results in the V10 Plus being faster and more powerful on the road.
In addition to the difference in engine power, the R8 V10 Plus also comes standard with carbon-ceramic brakes, which offer better performance and durability compared to the standard steel brakes on the V10. So if you are looking for more track-focused driving, the V10 Plus might be the better choice.
Personally, I own the R8 V10 and have driven the V10 Plus as well. While the V10 Plus does offer a bit more power and adjustments for a more intense driving experience, I find that the V10 still offers more than enough excitement and enjoyment on the road. It's also a bit cheaper, so if you're not too concerned about track use, I would recommend the V10.
