What is the difference between Audi's Quattro and Ultra Quattro drive systems?

I am considering buying an Audi, but I'm not sure which type of drive system to choose. Could you please explain the difference between Quattro and Ultra Quattro?

Quattro is Audi's iconic all-wheel drive system, while Ultra Quattro is a newer version that is optimized for fuel efficiency. Quattro provides excellent handling and traction on all types of road surfaces, making it great for more dynamic driving styles. Ultra Quattro, on the other hand, is better suited for everyday driving, providing improved fuel economy without sacrificing performance.

The main difference between Quattro and Ultra Quattro is the type of central differential used. Quattro uses a self-locking center differential, while Ultra Quattro uses an electronically controlled multi-plate clutch. This makes Ultra Quattro more efficient in terms of power distribution and allows for a wider range of torque distribution between the front and rear axles.
