What is the function of the Audi MMI system?

I recently purchased an Audi and I've heard a lot about the MMI system. Can you explain what it does and how to use it?

The Audi MMI system stands for Multi-Media Interface and it serves as the central control unit for all infotainment and navigation functions in the vehicle. It allows you to control various settings and access information using a central control dial and touchpad.

In addition to controlling infotainment and navigation, the Audi MMI system also allows you to adjust vehicle settings such as the climate control and lighting. It can even integrate with your smartphone to access features such as phone calls and messaging.

As with any new technology, it may take some time to get used to the Audi MMI system. My recommendation is to familiarize yourself with the menus and functions through the user manual and practice using it while parked before trying to use it while driving.
