What is the proper way to reset the MMI system in an Audi A3?

I am having trouble with my MMI system in my Audi A3 and I need to know the correct steps to reset it. Can you guide me through the process?

To reset the MMI system in your Audi A3, you will need to first press and hold the MENU, central MMI knob and top right control knob at the same time. Once the green menu appears, release the buttons and then press and hold the CAR and MENU buttons together for another 2 seconds. This will reset your MMI system and should solve any issues you are having.

I have found that disconnecting the car battery for about 15 minutes can also effectively reset the MMI system in an Audi A3. This will give the system a chance to completely shut down and then reboot itself.
