Why does my Audi A3 make a clicking noise when I start the engine?

Whenever I start my Audi A3, I hear a clicking noise coming from the engine. It only lasts for a few seconds and then stops. Is this something I should be concerned about or is it normal for this car model?

This clicking noise is most likely caused by a faulty relay switch. It is a common issue with Audi A3's and shouldn't be ignored. You should take your car to a certified mechanic to have it checked and potentially replaced.
