Why does my Audi A4 produce a squealing noise when braking?

I recently noticed that my Audi A4 has been making a high-pitched squealing noise when I apply the brakes. It seems to happen more frequently when the car has been sitting for a while and is cold. Any idea what could be causing this and how to fix it?

It's likely that your brake pads are worn out and need to be replaced. This is a common issue with Audi A4s and can be dangerous if left unattended. I recommend taking your car to a trusted mechanic as soon as possible to get the brake pads replaced.
