Why does my Audi A6 make a whistling sound when I accelerate?

I recently noticed that my Audi A6 makes a high-pitched whistling noise when I step on the gas pedal. It doesn't seem to affect the performance of the car, but it's quite noticeable. Is this something I should be concerned about?

It's likely that your car's air intake or exhaust system is damaged or clogged, causing the whistling sound. This can affect the engine's performance and lead to higher fuel consumption. I suggest bringing your car to a mechanic as soon as possible to have it checked.

This could also be caused by a faulty turbocharger. If the whistling noise only occurs when you accelerate, it's a sign that the turbocharger is failing. I recommend taking your Audi A6 to a certified mechanic who is familiar with Audi vehicles.
