Why does my Audi A7 have a delay in acceleration?

I've noticed that my Audi A7 tends to have a slight delay in acceleration when I press on the gas pedal. It's not a major issue, but it can be noticeable when trying to merge onto a highway or pass another car on the road. Has anyone else experienced this and know what could be causing it?

It could be due to a clogged air filter. I had a similar issue, and once I replaced the air filter, the acceleration became much smoother.

I suggest getting the transmission checked. Delayed acceleration can sometimes be a sign of a transmission problem.
