Why is my Audi 80 AC not cooling?

I recently purchased an Audi 80 and have noticed that my AC is not cooling as it should. The air coming out is cool but not cold. Any ideas why this might be happening and how can I fix it?

Hi Hannah, there could be a few reasons why your AC is not cooling as it should. One possibility is that the refrigerant levels are low, which could indicate a leak. Another possibility is that the AC compressor is not working properly. It's best to take your car to a certified mechanic to get it checked and fixed.

Hi Hannah, have you checked the AC filters? They could be clogged and preventing proper air flow. Try cleaning or replacing them and see if that improves the cooling. Also, make sure your car's cooling system is in good condition and there are no leaks in the hoses.

Hi Hannah, another common issue with the AC in Audi 80s is a faulty temperature control valve. This controls the amount of cold air that comes out of the AC. If it's not working properly, it can impact the cooling. Have a mechanic check this and replace if necessary.
