This could be caused by a worn out or loose steering column joint. It is important to have this checked and repaired by a qualified mechanic as it can affect the handling and stability of your vehicle. I suggest taking your Audi to a reputable mechanic for further diagnosis.

Another possible cause could be a faulty CV joint. These joints are responsible for transferring power from the transmission to the wheels and if damaged, can cause clicking noises when turning. It is best to have a mechanic inspect and replace the CV joint if necessary.
